About the Role
SupplyGo Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to work in schools in the Alfreton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and want flexible work within local schools.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom, help pupils stay engaged with their learning, and contribute to a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
Working with small groups or individual pupils who may need extra support
Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
Assisting with classroom preparation and general school duties
Encouraging pupils’ confidence, engagement, and independence
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
A positive, proactive and adaptable attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
