Working Hours: 08:30am – 15:30pm
Pay: £89.00 – £97.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistantsto work on a supply basis within a specialist autism provision in Belper. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time work, making this an excellent role for individuals looking for flexible employment in a rewarding educational environment.
This role involves supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated needs, helping them to access learning and develop socially within a supportive and structured setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with autism in both classroom and small-group settings
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Encourage positive behaviour and support individual learning needs
Help students develop communication, social, and independence skills
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and therapists
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN needs, particularly autism, is desirable
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A commitment to supporting inclusive education
