About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across Swadlincote and the surrounding areas. This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity, ideal for individuals looking to fit work around their schedule while making a positive impact in education.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work across different primary schools on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis, providing essential classroom support where it’s needed most.
Flexible Working Options
We offer a variety of working patterns to suit your availability:
Full-time: 5 full days per week
Part-time: 1–4 days per week
You can also choose shifts that fit your lifestyle:
Morning sessions: 08:30am – 12:30pm
Afternoon sessions: 12:00pm – 15:30pm
Full days: 08:30am – 15:30pm

Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Assist pupils with their learning, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Provide support to pupils with additional needs where required
Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff quickly
A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and education
Requirements
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable but not essential
