SupplyGo Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary and SEND settings.

About the Role

We are actively seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of Primary and SEND schools in and around West Hallam. Opportunities are available on a full-time, part-time, or day-to-day basis, depending on your availability.

This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in education, supporting pupils from EYFS through to KS4. It is also a fantastic opportunity for those looking to begin or develop a career in education, as no formal qualifications are required.

Experience in care or support roles, including residential or elderly care, sports or coaching roles, community work, or similar backgrounds, is highly valued and transferable to this position.

Working Hours

  • Full-Time: 08:30am – 3:30pm

  • Morning Only: 08:30am – 12:30pm

  • Afternoon Only: 12:30pm – 3:30pm

Age Ranges

  • Primary Schools: 4–11 years

  • SEND Schools: 4–25 years

Qualifications

  • No essential qualifications required – transferable skills are key

  • Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom environment

  • Maintaining a safe, positive, and well-organised learning space

  • Encouraging and motivating pupils to engage with their learning

  • Supporting delivery of lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Promoting positive behaviour and social interaction
