SupplyGo Education are recruiting motivated and caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a variety of Primary, and SEND schools in the Long Eaton area.

About the Role

We are seeking Teaching Assistants to work on a:

  • Full-time basis

  • Part-time basis

  • Flexible, day-to-day supply

You will have the opportunity to work with pupils from EYFS through to KS4, including SEND settings.

This role is ideal for:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistants

  • Individuals with education experience

  • Those looking to gain valuable classroom experience as a stepping stone into teaching

  • Candidates with transferable experience from care, support work, coaching, residential or community roles

Please note: Experience must be gained in a professional capacity, not solely through lived experience.

Age Ranges You May Work With

  • Primary Schools: Ages 4–11

  • SEND Schools: Ages 4–25

Working Hours

  • Full-Time: 08:30 – 15:30

  • Morning Only: 08:30 – 12:30

  • Afternoon Only: 12:30 – 15:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with their learning in line with the national curriculum

  • Setting up and preparing classroom resources

  • Maintaining a safe, positive, and tidy learning environment

  • Encouraging pupil engagement and participation

  • Supporting behaviour management

  • Motivating and nurturing pupils to reach their full potential

Qualifications

  • No essential qualifications required

  • Transferable skills welcomed

  • Any relevant qualifications are an advantage
