SupplyGo Education is expanding our team of dedicated Teaching Assistants and we'd love to hear from individuals with a wide range of experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting SEND and Mainstream Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of Primary and Special Educational Needs settings in Chesterfield and surrounding areas. Roles are available on a full-time, part-time, or day-to-day supply basis.

Whether you have previous school-based experience or you're hoping to take your first step into the education sector, this is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in a rewarding environment.

We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Support work or care

  • Residential or elderly care

  • Youth work or community roles

  • Coaching or sports coaching

  • Any role involving supporting children or vulnerable individuals

Working Hours

  • Full Time: 08:30 – 15:30

  • Mornings Only: 08:30 – 12:30

  • Afternoons Only: 12:30 – 15:30

Age Groups You May Support

  • Primary Schools: Ages 4–11

  • SEND Schools: Ages 4–25

What We’re Looking For

No formal qualifications are required – just transferable skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to support young people. Any relevant qualifications will be considered an advantage.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Supporting teaching staff to maintain a safe and positive classroom environment

  • Encouraging and motivating pupils throughout their learning

  • Helping students engage with the curriculum and classroom activities

  • Promoting interaction, participation, and independence
