Cover Supervisor

SupplyGo are seeking confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors and Behaviour Support Assistants to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, support students learning, and play a vital role in maintaining a positive classroom environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

· Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff

· Deliver pre-set work to students and ensure they remain on task

· Manage student behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

· Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

· Support the wider school community as needed

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:

· Help regulate individual/groups of children

· Create trusting relationships with students

· Remain calm under pressure

· Follow school policies and procedures

· Be a positive role model

The ideal candidate will:

· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Be confident managing classroom behaviour

· Be adaptable, proactive, and able to use their initiative

· Have a genuine interest in education and working with young people

· Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable but not essential

· Minimum 6 months working experience within the UK.
